10.30am Directions:The Cricket Club, Forest Corner, Edwinstowe. Situated off the B6034 just past the Sherwood Forest Visitors Centre (follow the brown tourist signs). Post code NG21 9RN (for sat navs) Car Park: Ample free car parking is provided for all race entrants next to the cricket club- (almost on the start line)! Please follow trail race car parking signs. Normal charge of £3.00 does not apply in this car park. Start Area: The start and finish area is located on the large grassy area next to the cricket club and amusement park. Toilets & Changing: Male and Female changing areas ,showers and toilets in the cricket club. Additional toilet facilities in the craft centre. Baggage: Unfortunately we do not have facilities for baggage storage but we will operate a car key drop off facility. This will be situated in the craft centre by the entries on the day desk. Course: The course is on well marked footpaths and bridleways. The course has 1km distance markers. There is a drinks station at 5K and the finish. T-Shirt: All finishers will receive a commemorative t-shirt. Presentation: Trophies will be awarded in the following categories: 10K senior male & female, 10K Male vet (40+) Female vet (35+), Male Supervet (55+) Female Supervet (50+). The presentations will take place in the cricket club at approximately 12noon. Results: Results will be published on the website (www.2pointb.co.uk) as soon as possible Postal results will be available please leave an SAE at the entry desk. First Aid: Provided by St Johns The Park: Sherwood Forest is a great family location. There are a variety of trails around the park, the robin hood story, cafes and craft shops and of course the mighty major oak.
