The 3 Counties Trail Race Series 2010 Dates Wednesday 16th June Elmton Chase (provisional) Wednesday 23rd June Major Oak Wednesday 30th June Abbey Dash (provisional) The 3 Counties Trail Race Series is 3 trail races in 3 weeks. All entries taken on the day/night. The 'Elmton Chase' is Held from the Elmtree Inn, Elmton Derbyshire. On the 16th June, starting at 19:30. The race is a 8.6km trail race. The format is a little road running mainly for access then trail running. Some fantastic views and scenery. The Elmtree Inn is a cosy venue post race. E mail
The 'Major Oak trail Race' This race held at The Forest Corner, Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire. (the corner where the cricket club is located) On the 23rd of June starting at 19:30. The race format is completely through the Sherwood forest using the well marked trails. The distance is 8km (5mile). Brilliant traffic free trail run with the other interesting sights of the venue. The 'Abbey Dash Trail Race' This race starts outside the Wesley Centre Maltby South Yorkshire on Wednesday 30th June to be confirmed. The run takes the competitors on a trail run to the historic and beautiful Roche Abbey. The course is around 8.3km. E mail
Series trophies for completing all three races in the following categories: Senior (M &F). Vet (o/F35 o/M40) Super vet (Fo/45 o/M50) (F+55 and M+60)
