Race Enrty;

When entering online dont forget that you will be charged the service fee by the provider of the online entry, its still probably better than providing a SAE though.

There will be no entries on the day if the race limit is reached beforehand.

RACE INFORMATION
Held under UK Athletic Rules: Accurately and certified measured course NO041. Race permit 2012 - 103035

Sunday 11th March 2012. Half Marathon start time 10:00am
Fun Run start time 10:15am

LOCATION East Retford Rugby Club, Ordsall Road, Ordsall Retford DN22 7PW

PARKING Within the grounds of the East Retford Rugby Club

‘Please DO NOT Park on the adjacent road’.

Please take care when leaving as other runners may still be finishing.

ROUTE: Start 400m from the rugby club on Ordsall road and finish at the Rugby club. The route will be marked in miles. The drinks station will be at 4.5, 6.5,9,11 miles and the finish

Earphones are banned and any race entrants using them during the race may be disqualified.

There will be road closures at the Ordsall roadabout for the returning runners.

TOILETS, BAGGAGE AND CHANGING Limited toilets are available at the Rugby Club. Additional toilets will be provided in the grounds of the Club. Limited changing is available in the club house

FIRST AID St John Ambulance personnel will be on duty throughout the event.

RESULTS Will be available as soon as possible on www.retfordrugby.co.uk If you require results to be posted please bring a S.A.E. to the entry desk on race day.

PRIZES T-shirts will be presented to all who finish the half marathon. Medals will be presented to all finishers of the fun-run.
Presentation of trophies and prizes will commence at approx. 12.15pm, but please be patient should there be any delay, as it takes time to compile the results.
Trophies and cash prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female to complete the course and to the winners of the Male Veteran Categories (0/40, 0/50, 0/60) and winners of the Female Veteran Categories (0/35, 0/45, 0/55).
Please note that no competitor will be awarded two trophies and two prizes. Should a veteran finish 1st,2nd or 3rd overall, then the major trophy and prize will be awarded to that person and the veteran prize awarded to the next person home in that category.

Course Map

A gently undulating course mainly in open countryside. Friendly atmopshere.

Ample parking by the start. Changing facilities available including limited showers . Commemorative t-shirt for all finishers. Trophies and prizes iin all categories.

Please note there is a race limit of 500 so enter early to avoid disappointment. There will be no entries on the day if the race limit is reached.
